While I left on Saturday it was a fairly long drive down to Calgary. There were a few geocaches along the way, as there always should be, because without them the drive is just a drive,where as with a couple of geocaches thrown in it is a good leg stretch and some cardio if you play your cards right. And I always play my cards right.
I stopped into Calgary and visited with family for the evening.Fred and Joan served me up a great meal and a superb nights sleep. Lots of talk about the brigade and the new bent shaft paddle that Mike Olson made for me.It feels very strong and looks like it was made by a professional.
I did 15 minutes of dry rowing with it. Not as hard as the real thing but still works those shoulders.

Kikomun is very very low.This will create problems getting in and out of the lake. The dam has been opened and the water in the lake has been lowered in expectation of the spring runoff. They are working on a solution at a private dock.More to come later.
I am presently in Canmore and all the mountains are topped with snow. Lots of snow.
I heard that Sunshine Village is expecting to be open on JULY 1 -- CANADA DAY. Can you imagine.?
