Some prior musings

April 21-2011

Pretty interesting meeting last night. Surprisingly, the one thing on the agenda that should of  been taken care of first in the safety department is the phones for safety. It appears that there are 4 different servers in the areas we are going through and in order to buy throw away phones it has finally come down to the fact that 4 phones for the advance team X 4 servers is 16 phones...hmm  I am concerned about getting the time to actually look after this blog and not real sure about geotagging my photos and getting a link to them here so you all can watch the fun   :)

The geocaching team has met several times. We have created pathtags and geocoins for NALS and The Brigade.

These coins and tags that have been created to give away as prizes are spectacular and I can hardly wait to get my hands on them. We will have 6 meet and greets in 6 communities along the route.
They are at

This is the statue at Invermere and these two people are what it is all about. Charlotte was David`s mate for more years than I have been on this planet. If you can imagine they took their children over the Rocky Mountains in the dead of winter. I cannot even consider taking my wife for a picnic into the bush and they dragged their kids over the Rockies on pack horses. What a different world they lived in.
